Scrapbusting, Organizing and Babysitting

Today is a busy day for me.

I got most of my "housework" done yesterday so my day is kind of "free" in a way. It's pretty exciting!

So I plan on organizing some of the things I need to get straightened up around this house. Then I'm going to go through my scrap fabrics and fabrics I haven't used (and don't know what to do with) and figure some stuff out. And then later today I am babysitting for my mother's friend. She has to work the graveyard shift at her work and needs someone to watch her daughter. I'm pretty excited :)

I've already finished a no-sew blanket for Matty from a big peice of fleece that he loves and now I'm going to bust through some old flannel and make some burp cloths for the new baby, Landon :)

Where is my mind at??

I have a bunch of things I need to do but can't seem to find my mind. LOL. All of these projects and things were in my mind and now it is nowhere to be found.

My mother's birthday is this weekend and I NEED to finish her gift TONIGHT since we will be going down there tomorrow to see her. I'm not sure what she's doing for her actual birthday day so I want to have the gifts done for tomorrow, just in case.

I feel like I'm in such a slump. I think it's because my energy level got sucked backed down to almost NOTHING since little Landon has flipped. For those of  you who dont know I'm 6 1/2 months pregnant right now with our second son, Landon, due November 2nd. : )

I keep wanting to fix the room  he's going to be in. Him and Matty will be sharing until we get into a bigger house. But I dont have any of his stuff yet. My husband promised me we'd get all of his big stuff next week though....so not too much longer fo rme to wait....but however long the wait....it's still killing me. Haha! We'll be getting his crib, the dresser, carseat and stroller next week so I hope that once I have his stuff in the house and set up it will give me more motivation to get things done. Because right now it's like I'm just walking on eggshells almost WAITING for this baby to take his place in this house...well at least his stuff. : )

I'm going to attempt to get my mothers gift done tonight. I really need to clean up a bit first and then do dinner a little later. But hopefully I can find the time tonight to get it knocked out. Wish me luck!

Out of my "funk"

So after the HORRIBLE start to my week this week...that continued most of the week....I finally have gotten out of my "funk". We got our new bed yesterday and I got a good night of sleep. So I decided to finish a couple of projects I had started before the crappyness happened at the beginning of the week. They were two cardholders that I had been meaning to finish up. One is for a giveaway I did on my Facebook page and the other is for my shop but it is going to be the base of what another lady from a craft group of mine wanted done :) So here they are :) DH apparently has to go back to work so I think I might go grab a couple of buttons for a project at Joanns, pick up my pictures from Walgreens and hit up Target to get shampoo for DH. Busy busy busy huh?? LOL



Heavenly

I slept in heaven last night. We got our new bed delivered yesterday. A, king! And it is amazing!! We also had to get bedding for it....so (not that I'm that spoiled haha!) I'm sleeping on 400 thread count Ralph Lauren Polo sheets, an amazing down Calvin Klein comforter with the softest gigantic king pillows EVER!!!

Thank jesus my husband makes decent money...lol....i love love love this new bed. Its so comfy we slept in til 10am this morning and I feel sooo rested!

Mrs. Froggybottoms

Here is what I've been working on all day long. LOL. She is a gift for my mother for her upcoming birthday. Mrs. Froggybottoms will match the passport cover I am also making for her since she is going to be taking a trip to Cabo shortly after her actually "birthday" : ) I hope my mother likes her because my son sure does. LOL

Giveaway!!!

I have a facebook page for my little "side business" called MONGERS. I just reached the 75 fan mark and am doing a giveaway! I'm so excited! Hopefully this will bring in some more business and get some custom orders flowing in!

Not to mention the giveaway but I also have almost all 3 of my current projects finished : ) I'm sooooo happy!
